hoooooooongI bought this because I was curious about the boar bristle brush. The size is pretty big, which was perfect for my thick, long hair. If you have any tangled hair, brushing from the bottom up smooths it out nicely, leaving your hair soft. Because it's large, it might be a bit inconvenient to carry around, but it's great for home use. If you're worried about damaged hair, I recommend giving this brush a try. It’s not drastically different from regular brushes, but it does help tame frizzy hair.

I was worried it might feel uncomfortable while brushing, but it detangles without irritating my scalp and styles my hair nicely. My hair doesn’t stop falling out completely (which is natural due to the growth cycle...), but it feels like only the tangled hair is being smoothed out without any pulling sensation, so only the hair that’s ready to fall out comes out. The only downside is that it’s a bit hard to keep the brush completely clean, but I just remove the hair from it as needed... and wash it with shampoo when necessary!

This product is definitely designed to fit the round shape of the head, so it was easy to clip on. Since only the part near my part tends to lay flat, I wanted to add volume just there, and this was exactly what I needed. It seems to create a natural volume well. However, it might be loose for those with thin hair, and if you're looking for really big, dramatic volume, you might find it a bit lacking. For those like me who want to add natural volume, this is great.

*This review was written after experiencing the product provided to me. I've been growing my hair out, and the longer it gets, the more my crown volume seems to fall flat and lose fullness. I tried the Borna Toolif Hair Volume Clip among various products! Since it has four prongs, it definitely holds securely, and if you use a blow dryer with it, the hold lasts even longer, so I'm completely satisfied. I think I'll stick with this hair clip from now on.

It feels different—like it gives more volume upwards. When you pinch a specific area higher than with the horizontal pin, the roots lift more, so it feels like there's more volume. I was satisfied! Of course, spraying some hairspray would make it last longer, but I’m happy just pinching it and letting hot air set it. My hair is semi-wavy, with average thickness—not thin but strong—so this might suit that hair type well. If your hair is similar, I recommend giving it a try!
