bsb605Unlike the original jar-type apple balm, this one comes with a built-in silicone tip, making it convenient to carry around and easy to apply on the go. I liked that you can use it by gently wiping with tissue afterward to keep it clean. As the name suggests, it has a clear apple color that applies transparently on the lips. It suits both spring warm light and spring warm bright tones well, and I think even cool tones can use it nicely. The shine isn’t too overpowering for my lips; it gives just the right amount of gloss to smooth lip lines and dryness. This is a must-have item in my pouch. The container is small and cute, so it fits in my bag without taking up space.

1. Color It's pinker than I expected! It's exactly like the detailed page swatch but lighter and the pink tone is stronger than I thought. << Pink 90% Red 10% vibe >> If you apply it lightly, it's a saturation that can even do a bunny tongue lip look. It's lighter than I expected, so I probably won’t use it alone but more for layering. For cool-toned brights, it's just a subtle lip color? I think I need to try the cherry balm next! 2. Texture is amazing! My new favorite glossy lip balm My lips feel so so so comfortable. It applies thinly and softly, and the feeling of it lightly sticking on the lips stays for a long time, which is amazing!! My lips usually get so dry and wrinkly, when I use glossy lips, only the surface looks glossy but the inside is dry—that’s me. I used to wear matte lipsticks only because they prevent lips from shrinking, but I highly recommend this for those with dry lips. And it’s not sticky at all!! 3. Packaging I hesitated between the stick type and this one, but I’m glad I chose the chubby version. The silicone tip is wider than I thought, making it easy to apply. Wiping it off and storing it is a no-brainer. If you’re not confident carrying a brush around, buy this = me. A slight downside is that the container is short, so the tip length is a bit short due to the height. When applying, the bottom part of the cap sometimes touches my lips. I hope the container gets bigger so the tip length can be about 1cm longer. It’s a shame the chubby version only comes in two colors. After using this for a while, I’ll have to buy other colors in the stick type and decant them.

The review section sometimes freezes, so this is my second try..ㅠㅠ sob.. I first tried the Apple Balm from the Thick Balm line and was satisfied, so I also bought the Jatype, but after trying the Thick Balm flavor, I think I'll keep repurchasing the Thick Balm~~! I hope they release more colors, so I need to stock up again~~

I quickly bought the apple balm with a silicone tip🍎❤️ The silicone tip feels a bit short, so I'm not sure if I can use it all the way to the end, but the convenience is amazing👍🏻 It gives a glow but isn’t sticky, which I love!

This product has a tip inside for application, which is more hygienic than the previous version. It's also great for carrying around and applying on the go! After applying, my lips feel really plump and it's not sticky at all, so my lips feel comfortable. :)

I really love this plump and moisturizing lip balm!! The color is subtle and not overpowering, which I like a lot. The photo is taken with a bare face and no color correction, so it closely matches the actual color. Just a heads up! I'm a summer cool tone, and I also bought the bubble balm. Both are so pretty 🫶🏻

I was worried the tinted balm would be much bigger, but the size is pretty much the same as regular balms! It’s super convenient because it has a built-in applicator tip!

I usually don’t go for this type, so I rarely use it, but since everyone was raving about the apple balm, I decided to try it. The color is a bit brighter apple shade than the official AOU swatch. It’s the classic apple red! I originally hesitated to buy it when it first came out because I thought carrying a separate lip brush around would be a hassle. But now that it comes all-in-one like this, it’s super clever and I really love it. Seriously, great product. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the texture and packaging, but the color is much more intense than I expected and the pigmentation is really strong! I applied it as a finishing touch on my lips, then wiped it off and reapplied... haha. If you control the amount well, it’ll look beautiful. Highly recommend!

I've always wanted to try AOU products, but since it comes in a stick form, I wasn't sure how to use it... I thought it would be a bit wasteful to buy a lip brush just for this lip product ㅠㅠ... Then I heard they were releasing a new version with a built-in silicone tip, so I bought it right away! It is a bit inconvenient to have to wipe it after use, but I really liked that I could do lip makeup without carrying extra tools ㅎㅎ!! When I tested it at an offline store, the color looked pretty, but when I applied it again, it came out more red~.. After applying a base and layering it again, I got the color I wanted. I'll use it well!
