The Mellow Cream is really highly recommended. I have seriously damaged hair, and I've never noticed much effect from any essence I've used, but with Mellow Cream, I was surprised at how different it felt after just one use. It's like pure moisture. You might not notice a huge difference externally, but when you touch your hair, it's completely different. I don't feel the need for other essences when using this one... but since I have them, I apply some hair essence after drying my hair halfway with Mellow Cream.
