jhahnI bought the Soft Fixer. Just like its name, it doesn't hold for a super long time, but it does keep my hair in place without making it greasy. I'm planning to get the Hard Fixer too so I can compare the two. The scent isn't bad, and I mainly use it to set my bangs. It's easy to use, and sometimes I spray it to keep the volume on top. The hold for bangs isn't super strong. Even after using a roller and spraying the Soft Fixer, my hair doesn't stay put for long—maybe because my hair is a bit weak. So if you want strong hold, I'd recommend going for the Hard Fixer! I'm going to buy it myself.

I haven't tried a ton of hair fixers, but this one definitely feels softer than most of the ones you find in stores. The scent isn't strong at all, so even my family members who are sensitive to fragrances could use it comfortably. The packaging is also really pretty. I can't say the hold is super impressive, but it does help a bit compared to using nothing. Still, if your hair tends to get greasy easily, this can make it look even more oily and stiff, which actually takes away some volume. So I didn't end up reaching for it often. I think I need to figure out a better way to use it.

My hair is thin and tends to fall flat, so using wax or super strong hairsprays often makes styling really tough. But with Soft Fixer, it's so much easier to style as I spray. Before, my hair would get stiff before I could even finish styling, and it was a pain to scrub wax off my hands. But with Soft Fixer, I can shape my hair as I go, and any product on my hands washes off easily with water. Some people say it doesn't make your hair stiff, which is true—but if you want a firmer hold, just use Hard Fixer together. It doesn't make your hair rock hard, but it's great for styling.

The spray comes out really smoothly, and as soon as I used it, I could tell it would hold my hair naturally—exactly what I wanted. Great for a natural hold—if your style loosens up a bit, the curling iron still works well afterward. Of course, if you want a super strong hold, you'd go for a hard spray, but I really like how natural this one feels.
